This class, open to anyone who identifies as transgender, is a support group to help trans individuals find the words and the courage to tell their stories. The overarching goal of these monthly gatherings is to empower trans folks to be able to go public in telling their stories. Our aim is to put an accurate portrayal of what it means to be transgender out in the world in order to build public knowledge and understanding and, through that, the support of the general public.
