The Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival, 43 State Coordinating Committees, NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and Forward Justice extend an invitation to local and national organizations, including many of the groups who mobilized with us on , grassroots organizers and community members for a massive and unique training of tens of thousands of poor and low income people and their allies in voter participation and protection on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 7:00pm ET / 4:00pm PT.
We must vote this fall like our lives depend on it. They do!
We are calling the nation to join us for an evening of information and inspiration as we share tools and training on voter engagement, registration and protection. We will also announce additional training, forums and town halls that will occur over the next two months.
We have just released a that shows that just a small uptick in the number of poor and low-income voters could change the political calculus of this nation. We will be announcing our 1000:1000 Campaign, 1000 faith and community leaders getting 1,000 people to the polls.
In addition to the Co-Chairs of the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival, we will hear the voices of poor and low-income people, their allies, artists, activists, and special guests.
