This year’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration will be our 35th time celebrating the legacy of the towering civil rights figure. We are happy to continue the tradition of having a day-long series of events – free to all – in Northampton and Florence. There are three sets of events during the day (click on each of them for more detail):

• 10AM – Afro-Am Heritage Trail Walk
  Sojourner Truth Park, Florence
• 1PM – Convocation and Children’s Celebration
  Edwards Church, 297 Main Street
• 2:30PM – Workshops by Community Organizations

All events are free and open to the public.

The Children’s Celebration will also commence at 1pm at (Addis Hall, downstairs). All kids programs will be held at this location. (More details coming soon.)
