We’ve always thought so. The Resistance Center has worked to shine a light on the realities of recruiters in high schools for years. Our research, published annually in Military Recruitment in Western Massachusetts High Schools, confirms two truths: military recruiters are active in our children’s schools and, more often than not, schools are not keeping records of recruiter involvement. We’re ready to start a campaign. We want to hold our schools accountable, put limits on school recruiters, and ultimately ensure the military stops recruiting kids. Together, we will ensure students do not fall victim to war and violence.
