For several years, The Resistance Center has published an annual report on the presence of military recruiters in Western Massachusetts high schools. The reports aims to gauge the level of militarism in our public school system. Year after year, we’ve confirmed two truths: military recruiters are active in our children’s schools and, more often than not, schools are not keeping records of recruiter involvement.

We’re ready to publish and share the 4th edition of Military Recruitment in Western Massachusetts High Schools. Join us on August 8th at 6pm as we prepare to send the report to high school administrators across Western Mass. Learn about our most recent findings and how you can help take action in our community.

Students deserve to know their rights and the realities of military service. Together, we can ensure students do not fall victim to war and violence!
