Gladys Natalia Franco Rodriguez is the Chair of the Board. She has 19 years of experience in education and has been a teacher, Supervisor of Leadership Development, and Assistant Principal in Springfield and Holyoke Public Schools.

Myra Lam

Myra Lam is a founding member of the TRC Board of Directors, currently serving as chair of TRC's Youth Committee. She teaches elementary school in South Hadley.

Bruce Hawkins

An activist and supporter of activists since the middle 1950's and in Northampton since 1961, Bruce (and his wife, Ruth Hawkins) have played a role in making Northampton as progressive as it is today.

Jenni Manifredi

After two years as an Americorps member, Jenni began an 18-year career as a counselor, classroom teacher and administrator. She is in her second year as an administrator in the Northampton Public Schools.

Ivette volunteers for the Springfield Housing Authority’s “Talk. Read. Succeed.” program, advocating for residents & coordinating translation services and the community garden.

Elise is a substitute teacher at Veritas Prep in Holyoke, MA interested in pursuing a career in education.

Vicki Elson

Vicki Elson, MA, CCE, CD is a co-founder of NuclearBan.US, working with the Nobel Peace Prize-winning International Campaign for the Abolition of Nuclear Weapons to implement the 2017 Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons in the USA. Vicki is also a childbirth educator, filmmaker, and songwriter.

Jeff Napolitano

Jeff is the founder of The Resistance Center for Peace and Justice. He was previously the Program Coordinator for AFSCWM and has over a decade of experience in political organizing and training. Jeff lives in Northampton with his two children.

Oppenheimer

Carolyn Oppenheim, a former journalism professor and newspaper reporter, is the coordinator of the Frances Crowe Film series hosted by Forbes Library and co-sponsored by TRC. She has a long history of anti-war activism, journalism, and draft counseling.
